Mechanical Electrical Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Client: MNC/ Main Contractor in Mega building & LTA/MRT Projects
• Location: Central Area, next to MRT “ N/E & Circle line”
• Salary: $6.5 – $7.5K, Negotiable Based on Qualification, Experience & Capability.
• Staff Benefits: Year-End Bonus + VB, Start off with 17 days annual leave ++.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years and above M&E QS work experience in the Construction industry
• Experience in handing tendering large scale building project would be advantageous Detailed and meticulous

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all financial aspects of the project to ensure the project is within the budget.
• Liaise, coordinate and have good rapport with the team members, consultants, client, contractors, suppliers and architects
• Prepare and 404.64% cost comparison
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Preparation of Monthly Main Claim and variation orders to consultant
• Preparation of Monthly sub-contractor payment certificate, variation orders, final accounts settlement
• Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
• Responsible in Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
• Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
• Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment
• Be familiar with various stages of projects to source for the most viable yet reasonable priced materials
